Arc

Arc is an ice scraper designed for both efficiency and durability. Featuring a detachable scraper blade for easy replacement, along with two prongs for breaking through thick snow and ice, Arc offers enhanced functionality. A thumb guard at the front and a rear handle improve grip and ensure comfortable use during operation.

This project served primarily as a testbed for exploring the properties and limitations of sheet plastic, particularly how it interacts with various fabrication tools. One challenge encountered was melting during sanding, but by heating the material and bending it, I was able to develop smooth, organic curves that enhanced both the aesthetic and functionality of the design.
